Casa Los Frailes Monastrell

The CLF Monastrell has vibrant red fruit notes such as raspberry and cherry, accompanied by a subtle spicy hint. On the palate, it is fresh and juicy, with a delightful acidity that balances its ripe fruit flavours. Its texture is smooth and pleasurable, leaving a lingering, slightly mineral finish.

Casa Los Frailes takes the name as the Jesuit Friars used to live in the Estate during two centuries (XVII to XVIII). Since then, about 250 years ago, in 1771 Casa Los Frailes estate belongs the Velázquez family, managing the winery today in the 13th generation.
Casa Los Frailes pioneered organic farming, being certified already in the year 2000.
