Mattilda Nieves is a medium bodied cherry like red wine with floral aromas. The smell of the Mencía grape stand out to raspberries and blackberries with light notes of licorice. Very soft tanins.
The Mencia grape grows only in North-West Spain and Norhtern Portugal and produces high quality wine with a good ageing potential. An excellent choice for Pinot Noir lovers!
